If you have stumbled upon this page, then I take pity upon you... I am not aiming to convey an illuminating portrait of my life, but rather to convey my view of the world. I live in one of the metropolitan centres of the universe - New York City - and I have developed a particular sense of observation. I am here to share, not to influence, and I do not speak the ultimate truth. I have entitled myself as a "misanthrope," yet I do not hate all mankind. In fact, I have high hopes that people are upright, intelligent, and overall make the world better. I just find so much evidence that points to the contrary. From time to time I will bitch and moan, but I also have intelligent thoughts and the occasional moment of witty banter. I desire only to shed some light on my view of the world, which to me this goodly frame, the earth, seems to me a sterile promontory...
